Horse Training
Building trust, confidence, and lasting partnerships through thoughtful, horse-centered training.
Every Horse Has a Story
Behind every unwanted behavior is a reason.
Fear, confusion, discomfort, uncertainty, or simply lack of understanding can all influence how a horse responds.
At Equiroots, training isn’t about forcing obedience. It’s about understanding the horse in front of us and creating lasting change through clear communication, consistency, and trust.
Rather than asking, “How do we stop this behavior?”
we ask, “Why is this happening?”

Our Approach
I don’t believe in quick fixes or overpowering the horses.
Every training plan is tailored to the individual horse, taking into account their history, personality, physical well-being, and learning style.
By combining horse behavior, learning theory, psychology, and practical horsemanship, we create training that is clear, fair. and built to last.
Because true confidence can’t be forced - it grows through understanding.
Training Doesn’t End With the Horse
The best results happen when owners learn alongside their horses.
Whenever possible, owners are encouraged to participate in training sessions so they can better understand their horse and continue building trust at home.
The goal isn’t simply a better-trained horse.
It’s a stronger partnership.
